Recognizing the role of women in the industry, the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders), celebrated Professional Women in Building (PWB) Week, by taking a closer look at the growth of women in the workforce building industry. The NAHB took note of the positive trends women are making in assuming leadership roles and inspiring the next generation of female building professionals. PWB member, owner and president of Green Home Coach/Sustaining Spaces in Edmond, Okla., as well as founder and host of the Green Gab Podcast, on iTunes, Marla Esser Cloos is one of those women. Marla’s book, Living Green Effortlessly: Simple Choices for a Better Home, was chosen by the NAHB Federation along with the NAHB BuilderBooks as a prize give-away in honor of Professional Women in Building Week.
