2014 Storm Tree Trimming
Hey, Danielle here again. A while ago, Marla did a great blog about spring storms and tornadoes, a very important topic this season. I am terrified of tornadoes and always have been but, there is one other storm aspect I have always been leery about: stormy winds.
Ever since my parents have owned their home, there has been this big beautiful pine tree in our front yard, and it is big. It can often be used as a calling card to our home and as useful as it is, it is terrifying. Every storm it is not unlikely that you may see one of us peeking outside to watch whether or not our tree will fall on ours, or our neighbor’s home. This time of the year it is very common to see people getting their trees trimmed before it’s too late.
Tree trimming is very important, by getting rid of all the dead limbs, like you would any plant, you may save your house or your family. It is very easy to find a tree trimming company, just make sure they use the proper safety precautions and have proper insurance to protect not only the workers but, your home, family or friends.
Safety is not the only advantage to having a company come out and trim your tree, another may be aesthetics. In my neighborhood we have power lines, which means, every few years the city will come around to our beautifully sculpted trees and lob the tops of them off. By having a company of your choice come out, you are not only protecting power lines but you are saving your tree.
