Work With Marla

Marla Esser Cloos Creator of HomeNav

Owner / Founder of Green Home Coach
NAHB Master Certified Green Professional,
LEED AP

I assist clients in aligning their projects, single-family and multi-family, new construction and remodels, with the Green Home Certification process and can partner with the project verifier and design/build team to ensure certification requirements are met or exceeded.  Many projects also include HomeNav®.

Want to know your home looks good and performs well? My Green Home Coach Plan lays the groundwork with a comprehensive set of priorities, practices and product specifications for your new or remodeled green home – a certified green home with better health, safety and comfort for everyone who lives there.

I personally work with the ICC-700 National Green Building Standard™, endorsed by ANSI, American National Standards Institute and NAHB, the National Association of Home Builders. I can partner with other providers for other green home certification programs too.

When you work with me, you get a well-connected professional who understands and speaks the language of homeowners AND the home building industry. As an NAHB Master Certified Green Professional and LEED AP, I’ve learned the ropes alongside home building and green professionals.

When you build or remodel a green certified home, you get a home with more than “just” energy and cost savings. Your home provides you and yours a better living environment through better health and safety, convenience and time, comfort, ease and money.
